      • Clough Event Spaces are available for academic or VIP functions only, as approved by the Event Manager and Library Leadership Team.
      • External/non-GT hosted events are NOT permitted.
      • Clough Event Space requests may take up to 2 weeks to process and approve.
      • Housekeeping charges will apply for all events with food or drink. This charge covers extra trashcans and trash removal after the event.

      • Tables, chairs, linens, AV, sound system, easels, catering, set-up, and breakdown are the responsibility of the renter. The Clough Commons does NOT provide these items or services.
      • A rain plan in a separate location is required for all Roof Garden events.
      • The Clough Roof Garden is only open for events during the hours of 7:30 am to 10:00 pm. The Garden is closed for events between October 15th and March 15th due to weather and darkness.
      • The Clough Atrium is NOT available for events M-F while class is in session. The space is typically available starting between 5pm and 7pm, depending on the day of the week. Exceptions can be made for fall and spring break.
      • Events utilizing Clough spaces must use a GT approved caterer.(Exception: outside food totaling $200 or less may be purchased and brought in for events) See Campus Catering policy link for more details. http://studentcenter.gatech.edu/catering/Pages/default.aspx
      • Alcohol (beer and wine only) is permitted in select areas of the Clough Commons. All Clough events must be in accordance with the Campus Alcohol Policy. Permission to serve alcohol must be acquired by emailing event details to Donna Castanell. Because the Clough Commons is a classroom building, areas where alcoholic beverages are consumed must be cordoned off.  Individuals under the age of 21 may not enter the area where alcoholic beverages are being served OR consumed.
      • Student-hosted events may NOT serve alcohol under any circumstance.
      • Gas or electric heaters are not permitted in any area of the Clough Commons, including all of the outdoor spaces.
      • Permissions to play music at an event are dependent upon the date and time. Clough is a classroom building, and studying takes precedence.
      • Décor, signage, banners, or art installations may not be permanently adhered to any building surface (NO TAPE). Zip-ties and wire-hanging methods are generally permitted with permission from the Event Manager.
